MIRANSHAH, Pakistan, Sept 8 (Reuters) – A suspected U.S. drone fired missiles into Pakistan’s North Waziristan region on Tuesday, the second such strike in as many days, but there was no immediate word on casualities, intelligence officials said. Five militants, all believed to be Uzbeks, were killed in Monday’s strike in the same region. Pakistani Taliban chief, Baitullah Mehsud, was killed in a similar strike in neighbouring South Waziristan last month. (Reporting by Haji Mujtaba, Writing by Zeeshan Haider; Editing by Ron Popeski)
