ABIDJAN, Feb 22 (Reuters) – Ivorian soldiers opened fire on protesters in the western town of Daloa on Monday, killing two people and wounding more than 15, a local sergeant told Reuters.”Their were many wounded by bullets in the demonstration … We have more than 15 wounded and two who were killed by the bullets,” the sergeant, who was not authorised to be named, said. It was the second confirmed incident in which Ivorian forces have shot and killed demonstrators in a week of protests against President Laurent Gbagbo, escalating already high tensions after he disbanded the government and electoral commission.On Friday, military killed at least five protesters at a rally in the western city of Gagnoa.
